Ironman aka Tony Stark
Tony Stark, as defined by himself, is a Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, and Philanthropist. It is a fictional character in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ironman has a similar origin story to Batman. In 1939 Howard Stark, the father of Tony Stark started the Stark Industry. Initially, Stark Industry mainly dealt with weapons, arms, and government contracts. Howard was also a genius. He worked for SHIELD a secret government organization. He was also the maker of Super Soldier Serum. Howard Stark also made a lot of investments which were later inherited by Tony Stark.
At the age of 21, Tony Stark lost both of his parents in an assassination. He inherited all of his father’s possessions. After attaining maturity, Tony Stark focused the attention of the Stark Industry on manufacturing weapons for the government. The weapon manufacturing business earned a lot of money for the company. Later he shut down the weapon section of the company after realizing that the weapons were doing more harm than peace. He then focused on tech and IT. It is now when he started making expensive Iron suits. He got good support from Pepper Potts - his assistant, and later the company’s CEO. Later she also became Tony Stark’s wife. According to the list mentioned earlier, Tony Stark’s net worth is 12.4 Billion $. It seems much lower, but the value is more practical and it is possible that most of his Ironman stuff would be in name of Avengers Company and not in the name of Tony Stark himself.
So, Who is Richer?
According to our assessment and the data provided by Forbes, Ironman is richer than Batman. Although one may argue that the stocks and property owned by Bruce Wayne might have more value than 9.2 Billion $. But the same holds also for Ironman. He also possessed stocks and property passed on by his late father. In addition to that Ironman also funded Avengers, which was a bigger more expensive team than Justice League of Batman. Ironman’s gadgets were also more advanced and more expensive compared to Batman's.
At last, it can be said that there is no clear winner. There are too many variables to consider and many possessions whose value is unknown. The value of net worth mentioned in this article is subject to change. The directors can make these characters as wealthy as they need to.
